Wow, what an amazing the time both the children and staff had at the sleepover last night. Our children behaved impeccably and were such great company! it was a brilliant night which I am sure everyone will remember for years to come. Lets hope for an early night tonight ;)

It's been another busy week here a Sutton and the children of Green Class have been absolute troopers. Look at how busy they have been...

This week the children have had to use their number knowledge to solve a variety of problems using 'strategies'. Tricky stuff!

The children have absolutely loved learning about 'The Great Fire of London' and used their knowledge to make a short 'timeline' of events.

We then got to work as researchers, finding extra facts and answers to our questions.

We put them together on a colorful fact sheet to share with younger children in school.

On Thursday, our friends from Catfield and Hickling came over for our 'Federation Sports Day'. We had so much fun learning different ways to keep fit, as well as thinking about what to eat to stay healthy and how to keep our minds healthy.

With all this glorious sunshine around it's been hard to stay focused on  work, however our fantastic children in Green Class have been absolute troopers. Here are some of the things they have been doing:

Acting out dragon and knight battle scenes practising the conjunctions 'so' and 'but'.

Recapping work on fractions and division.

Life guards visited us in assembly and told us about keeping safe at the beach.

 Father's Day fun!
